I want to apologize again for the lack of reviews that have been happening. These gas prices and pricing of living that have so dramatically raised are KILLING ME!! I’m working on trying to make more money, but that is much harder than you’d think… not that any of you think that making more money is easy, and if you do, then I slightly hate you at the moment. But trust me, I’m working on it.

Kicked My Ass

Sailor Jerry Kicked my ASS last night! And to make things worse, I’m at work so I can’t take a hit of the best hang over cure. Fortunately, I only have like 3 hours left of work, and, I’m about to make myself a bomb sandwhich.

New Computer

Well guys, I have good news and bad news. The good news, I FINALLY have a new computer!! The bad news, I'm totally broke right now. Lately my life has been pretty hectic, so apologize that it may be a few more weeks before I get some new reviews. Found out something cool the other day though, apparently I'm one of the top 1,000 medical cannabis reviews in the nation, I know probably not a big deal, but I thought it was pretty cool. Anyways people, I'll at least be trying to update my blog more frequently, even if their not with reviews.

Broken Computer

So, you may have noticed that I've been slacking on my postings lately. Well, my computer died about a week or so ago, which makes postings a little difficult. Also, thanks to the stupid gas prices, I haven't been able to get out as much. Rough times man, rough times. On a brighter note, 420 is coming soon!! Anyone have fun plans?

The Redwood Collective, San Diego, CA

This particular dispensary is a little more difficult to find.Maybe it's because I'm not used to the San Diego roads, but once you actually find this hidden "Kettner Rd" you will see it without issue. It definitely makes the effort of being found with huge signs in a larger building, but finding the street proved to be slightly more difficult than most. Despite the difficulty, this clinic is definitely worth it! The buds are choice, and they have the benefit of having the Medbox, which I still only express good reviews about. I ended up picking the J-1, which was one of my top decisions at the first dispensary I went to today. I was very pleased with the strand, as it's some of the best I've come across. The edible selection was excellent as well. The set up is nice, very spacious. If you are in the San Diego area, this is definitely a dispensary you should check out for yourself!

This particular dispensary was one of the nicest clinics I've been to. When I walked in, I was greeted by a security guard. He then let me to go back to the actual station. The set up was spectacular, you have edibles on your left, utensils on the right (that includes Iolites), and the main attraction in the center. Their buds were incredible, having some of "High Times" top choice buds. The staff equaling the quality. I'm also proud to say, that I had my very first soda from this dispensary, and was very pleased. The only complaint I have about this dispensary is the location. Though it wasn't to difficult to actually find, the parking was attrocious. I had to park a few blocks away, fortunately I enjoy walking, and the quality of the clinic made up for any inconvience it had made.

What a joy it was to come across this dispensary. It was easy to find, great set up, and the bud was excellent, I had a difficult decision on which eighth I was going to choose.The staff was great and helpful through my decision process as well. It's located just off of a main road, and practically impossible to miss. There's comfortable couches in the lobby and a very spacious room in the back. All product and prices were very clearly listed on the two giant white boards that practically took up the left wall which was very nice. The viewing area was clean with all the equipment needed to view every detail of buds. On a special note, the edibles looked fabulous! There were cakes, pies, and muffins. They also have the tinctures, that sadly, I have yet to try!

I had the most fabulous day down in San Diego today. Despite the gloomy weather, my time down south wasn't to chilly, and definitely not wet -it started raining on my way home :-p. I picked up a good friend of mine from Oceanside and we headed down south. I was able to check out 3 dispensaries, and then we went down to the downtown area and ate at the fabulous Neighborhood. For those of you who haven't eaten there, this is a new necessity. My good friend had recommended the place, and I am so happy she did! It's a gourmet burger joint with a full service bar and the experience is nothing but euphoric. The fabulous food and wine paired with exquisite greens I had picked up along the way, was the perfect way to get myself in the relaxing mood to enjoy the rain. I hope everyone stays dry today, and enjoy the soothing sounds mother earth is providing, lord knows with the natural disasters and wars going on, we deserve to sit back with a good Shiraz, packed bowl, and cuddling snoring dog.

So I'm sure that whoever follows this blog may have noticed that my posts are a little spread out. Honestly, I try to post as many as I can in a week, but the weekends tend to be easier for me to get on, except for certain occasions at work when I'm able to blog. Plus, the gas prices have been RIDICULOUS, like seriously, $4.01 last night at Cheveron, WTF!?!?! So I haven't really been able on my A game lately, but, I am pleased to tell you that I will be going down to San Diego this weekend and I plan on stopping by a few places to check them out, so keep an eye out!

Another thing I wanted to talk about real quick, is that I want to hear feed back from you, is my blog helping at all? I've been enjoying doing it, but the lack of followers have left me a little uneasy on if people are actually enjoying it. FYI, you don't have to have a blog to follow, you just have to sign up with google, which is free, quick, and easy! Thankfully, I am seeing my viewings are going up, so I'm going to start interacting a little differently I think,  make things a littler more personal or so. I also want to hear from you guys, have a little better interaction.

Montrose Medical Group, Montrose, CA

This is a brand new dispensary in the Montrose area, literally open for maybe 4 days, only open 2 days on the day of my visit! Not only are they new, but they are one of the first clinics to sport the new MDS Machines, which completely blew my mind. It was smoother, and quicker at processing then the previous machine (which wasn't slow by any means) and it was connected to an edible vending machine that dispensed everything from brownies, sodas, and even accessories. The set up is really open, roomy, and professional as well, a room for every step of the process. Their bud is awesome, and I was presently pleased with the choice of Durban Poison that was recommended. Overall, this is definitely a clinic you should check out!

Evergreen Holistic Collective, Lake Forest, CA

I haven't been impressed with any $40 dispensaries, until I tried this one. Not only do you get the benefit of all eighths being $40 but all eighths that you buy with cash are 4.0 g! They do have the benefit of being able to use your card as well, but that will buy you only a 3.5 g eighth. Their buds are great, their staff is knowledgeable and fun. This dispensary quickly became one of my favorites in all of Lake Forest, it's located again in the same Raymond building as the majority of the Lake Forest clinics and is in suite 206! They also have a good selection of edibles, their main displayed edible being Gummies. If you're in the area and are looking for a cheap good quality eighth, then this is DEFINITELY the place to go!!

The Green Oasis, West Los Angeles, CA

This is one of the coolest dispensaries around. Other than their excellent selection of buds, the reason this dispensary is so unique is because of the vapor lounge upstairs. It has everything you would need to enjoy a night with friends. It has table, chairs, couches, music, Foosball, magazines, and oh yeah, every table is equipped with it's own vaporizer. It has almost a Amsterdam feel to it, with the tilted windows and open back. You are also welcome to bring you're own instruments for smoking. It is very easy to find, as it's directly off of a major road with bright green sign. It's rare to find a place with such serenity, especially in the heart of Los Angeles, but this place is 100% a must!

You may say to yourself, "Hey, didn't she already post a review for Infinity Healing Center?" The answer is yes, but not this location, and trust me, there is definitely differences between the locations. This particular location was another one that was very easy to find. It was very clearly marked and in an area where parking is easy to find. The selection was very different from the Hollywood location, but potency was not lacking in anyway! They have articles posted on the wall of all the different strands they carry. I was split between a few of them, but the staff definitely helped in making the final decision, and I walked away very very pleased with my final choice of "Rick James".

I have nothing but praise for this dispensary. The location was perfectly placed off of a main road just minutes from the freeway. It is labeled with a big bright sign that you can't mistake or miss. The set up is very spacious, the waiting room having comfortable couches and chairs as they take care of you individually looking for your individual needs. Any of their employee's are extremely knowledgeable of all of their product. They have their bud review station that you can check out all of their strands and pricing. They also have 2 large cabinets filled with an impressive selection of edibles. They also have some of the best selection of glass I've seen in a clinic. You may ask though, what makes this dispensary the most unique? They have an exclusive strand called Houdini OG. Lab tested it comes out to a THC level of 24.5% and was some of the most tastiest buds I have ever come across. Add that with the quickness and ease of the MDS machine and this is definitely one of the best clinics I've come across yet!

This dispensary has the best buds for the best prices. All eighths range from $40-$55 and are some of the best I've seen priced so low. The staff is kind, and enthusiastic about what they do. I had only some brief difficulty finding their location, as it's right across the street from a group of small shops, but it's definitely worth a stop! Another benefit that this location provides is that you can use your ATM to put money straight onto your card, which as any patient would know, is a rare find!

Infinity Healing Center, Hollywood, CA

Hollywood, California, home of the stars, sites, and some of the best buds around! As I said in my previous post I wanted to check out some of the dispensaries who carried the MDS machines, this was one. It's located about a  block or so south of Sunset Blvd and though parking is always a hassle, it's conveniently located a few stores down from a public parking lot. I originally had a little difficulty finding the place but look for a sign that says "High Quality" in bright green letters and you'll be fine! The suite 103 is located just under the sign through a small business alley. It's a very open and clean set up where you can take a look at all the buds and pricing. All the buds are quality and the staff is very knowledgeable. James in particular shared my excitement in a strand I haven't found in quite sometime, White Widow, and it was everything I remembered it to be. If you're in the area, I definitely recommend stopping by and checking it out!

MDS

I'm sorry I haven't posted any new reviews in while, I've been pretty busy. Don't worry though, because boy do I have some information for you! I took advantage of the long Presidents Day weekend and found myself up in LA to do some adventuring. I came across a new, or at least I'm assuming newer way of receiving your buds. There are clinics that have these MDS machines or Medicine Dispensing Systems, though currently some are labeled as PVMs or Prescription Vending Machines. You walk into a clinic like normal, make your selection, and go to the machine with a card that has a credit on it. You can add money to the card at any clinic that carries a MDS. It also reads your finger print, so that if you loose your card, no one else can use it. The buds are sealed securely and come out just as fresh. They also offer information right there on the screen about each bud. They do lab testing on all buds to provide everything from the THC levels to the positive and individual effects of each strands. I was intrigued and so I investigated. My next 4 reviews are going to be about clinics in LA County that carry these machines, with I'm sure many more to follow.

This particular dispensary is again, located in the 24602 Raymond Way building and is suite 207 located just off of El Toro Rd. If you're looking for the cheapest eighth around this is the place to go. All eighths are only $40. Their selection is broad and decent, especially for the prices. Their display though is very unorganized having all of their jars just out on top with labels. You really have to dig through the mess to find the ones you want, which can be a difficult task when it's crowded. This shop is very small, and not very roomy.  Of coarse you can ask the workers for help, and if you're lucky they will be coherent enough to help you. The last time I went into this shop the employees were obviously partying (except for the poor girl in the front who looked quite unhappy with the situation). They not only messed up my order, but they had to weigh my eighth 3 times to get it right.This is unfortunately the most unprofessional dispensary I have been into and is definitely a party clinic. If you don't mind those problems though and are on a budget, then this is definitely the place to go.

1 Love Beach Club, Long Beach, CA

One Love or as their cards read One Evol is one of the best medical dispensaries I have ever been to. They are located at 2767 E Broadway in Long Beach, and though parking is on the road, I have never had difficulty finding a spot close to the doors. It's also extremely easy to find, just look for the Bright green +'s. It is a unique and spacious shop, with one of the best staff's I've ever encountered. They are all friendly, outgoing, and knowledgeable. They are also a pet friendly environment, with a gigantic dog as their shop pet.

Their selection is pristine and has varied every time I have gone in. Their prices are fair, especially considering that all of their eighths are 4 grams! Can't decide between all of their top shelf buds? Not a problem, you have the ability to mix and match all 4 grams, which I have personally done several times. They also have a fabulous selection of edibles, one in particular worth mentioning is a newer edible line called edible (spelled with a backwards e). They have unique choices that include pies, marble brownies, cheese cakes, and snickers ice cream squares that not only taste amazing, but are hands down some of the most potent edibles I have ever enjoyed! (Warning: if you are needing to do anything important that day, stick with possibly only a bite?)

On another note, they have some of the healthiest clone's I have come across, with again a nice variety of choices that have varied from visit to visit. Fun little tip for you, when transporting clones, ask for 2 bags, one to carry the clone in, and another to cover the top of the clone. Personally I have found it to be the best way to protect the clones until you reach them to their final destination.

ICOC, Lake Forest, CA

For my first review I've decided to do my favorite clinic in Lake Forest. If any of you are familiar with the Lake Forest area, then you probably know of the 24602 Raymond Way building located just off of El Toro Rd. ICOC is Suite 209.

They offer a great selection of buds and definitely strive for quality. The staff is knowledgeable, informative, and friendly. It's a smaller but spacious layout, with two glass cabinets displaying nugs and filled with preweighed containers. They have a smaller selection of edibles, but do carry potent items such as hubby bars.

One of my favorite things about ICOC is that when you buy a $60 eighth, you get the quality you would expect to find with a $60 eighth, which is something you just can't find everywhere. They do carry an economy priced selection as well, with prices as low as $30 an eighth, even this selection is worth your money.

My only complaint about ICOC is that though their selection is broad, there's not much variety from visit to visit. They seem to always carry the same strands, which has its positives and negatives. A positive is that you know which buds you prefer, but it you're like me, and like to try new things, it can be seen as a negative. But alas, whenever I try to switch it up and go to a new dispensary in the area, I always end up right back at ICOC where I know I'm going to get the best quality for my purchase.

Have any of you medical patients gone to look up a review of a dispensary and get completely thrown off by comments and reviews like "This Place F*$!ing Rocks!!!" I mean honestly, what kind of weed connoisseur really posts a review like that?
